So why did we switch?
My decision to switch to cloth diaper is savings. After consuming the one month supply of disposable diaper that we won from Sweet Baby Diapers we immediately switched to cloth diaper. With so many brands to choose from we settled Alva Cloth Diaper, a china brand. I am satisfied with the performance and it is the most affordable brand so far.
We have been using it for 24 months now and we approximately saved a lot. We invested PHP5,000 for building a stash of 30 cloth diapers. We can use it for the next baby. Just stick to your budget or else you will defeat the purpose. But if you have the money then you can splurge.
I did not have an expense for the detergent because I won a Cycles Laundry Detergent supply for 3 years.
Save a Bum
Contain no chemicals such as chlorine, perfumes or polyacrylate (a chemical used for absorbency). Chlorine and other chemicals can strip away good protective bacteria on the skin and change the pH balance of your baby, which can cause dryness and skin irritations.
Save the Environment
Produce less waste-this is obvious
I do no have any issues with mothers who use disposable diapers, it’s a matter of choice and I respect that.
